The Swiss Cottage Tents / Luxury tents have a tin roof with the tents fitted underneath. These are permanent structures, with an attached tiled bathroom and 2.5 feet high walls along the sides of the room. They have windows, 2 in the bathroom and 4 in the room that can be closed from inside. The floor is wooden, and each tent has its own private covered veranda. Every tent is in a different part of our property with plenty of private space. We have 2 Swiss Cottage Tents.

Swiss Cottage tents are open for booking between 01-May-2024 and 30-Jun-2024.

Amenities

• Every Swiss cottage tent has:
  • Queen-size bed (60″ wide x 72″ long) which sleeps 2 people
  • A futon couch
  • 2 outdoor chairs and a table
• Running hot water
• Electricity (1 light in the room and 1 light in the bathroom)
• Covered veranda

Tariff

Tariff on double sharing (2 people / room)

* Tariff is for 1 room and 1 night and includes all meals (morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner) for 2 people.

• Daily walk, with a trail guide
• Transport by car from the road up to the Retreat (800 m) at the time of checkin and checkout only

Does not Include

• Forest entry fees – This should be paid at the forest gate before entering the Sanctuary)
• Naturalist guide – We can arrange a naturalist guide, if necessary, at an additional cost
• Driver accommodation – We don’t have driver accommodation in the Retreat. There are plenty of accommodation options for drivers outside the Sanctuary gate, towards Basauli
• Room service

• Soft drinks and alcohol
