Walnut cottage is named after the Walnut tree that stands next to the cottage.  We have 1 Walnut cottage. It is a stone and wood construction with a traditional style roof – made of what are locally called Pataal (long, thin and rough stone tiles). It has a wooden veranda and deck in front which gets abundant sunshine, an absolute joy in the winter.

  • A King-size bed (72″ wide x 78″ long) which sleeps 2 people
  • A Sofa, which converts into an extra bed (60″ wide x 72″ long), for a maximum of 2 extra people (children / adults)
  • 1 single seat sofa

• Driver accommodation – We don’t have driver accommodation in the Retreat. There are plenty of accommodation options for drivers outside the Sanctuary gate, towards Basauli
